Aspens are my favorite tree. Living in Colorado, it’s hard not to love them — their quaking leaves; vibrant colors; gnarled trunks that seem to look back at you; and how they pop up in groves, all connected beneath the surface. I like them so much I’ve even considered doing that millennial thing where you name a kid after a tree. Don’t worry, probably not gonna happen.
