My husband recently visited Costa Rica for a friend’s bachelor party, and though I’ve never been, I was inspired by his photos. I was attracted to the tranquil atmosphere, the sleepy slowness the scene evokes. The pool, surrounded by palm trees and tropical plants, seems to invite you in – to float and forget your worries. I’d like to get there someday, to spend a day surfing in the Pacific and unwinding poolside in the afternoon.
